Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote)
Salary: Up to £50,000 + comprehensive package
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports to: Programme Scheduler or Senior Scheduler
The Opportunity
Join a leading consultancy delivering project controls expertise to the Sizewell C programme.
We’re looking for a Planning Engineer to support integrated planning and scheduling activities. Working alongside experienced planners and delivery teams, you'll play a key role in driving performance and supporting the successful delivery of complex workstreams.

What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in building and updating schedules using Primavera P6
- Support schedule assurance reviews with suppliers
- Contribute to progress tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting
- Help prepare monthly schedule updates and performance reports
- Collaborate across delivery teams, project managers, and commercial teams
- Participate in planning workshops and assurance reviews

✅ What You’ll Need
Essential:
- Experience in a project, engineering, or construction setting
- Basic understanding of planning/scheduling principles
- Familiarity with Primavera P6
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and support across multiple teams
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Knowledge of NEC or FIDIC contracts
- Awareness of schedule change control and integration
- Exposure to tools like Power BI
- Membership of APM, PMI, or similar professional body
