This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects within a highly regulated environment.\n\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on project schedules, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.\nMonitor and report project progress against agreed milestones and deliverables.\nSupport resource planning and coordination activities.\nIdentify schedule risks, opportunities, and critical path impacts.\nProduce accurate planning reports and project performance metrics.\nWork collaboratively with project teams, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.\nReview and challenge programme information to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives.\nContribute to planning and estimating activities during project development phases.\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in a Project Planner role within engineering, infrastructure, construction, or other complex project environments.\nStrong planning and scheduling skills using Primavera P6.\nExperience working with NEC contracts.\nAbility to analyse project performance and communicate progress effectively.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\n\nDesirable Experience\n\nExperience working on large-scale infrastructure, engineering, defence, energy, or other highly regulated projects.\nProject management or planning qualifications.\nDegree or equivalent professional experience.\n\nSecurity \n\nDue to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nSelf-motivated and proactive approach.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with multiple stakeholders.\n\nIf you meet the above criteria, apply today!\n\nCompany information\n\nAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
