PIPING ENGINEERJob DescriptionStudy the project requirement, specification, scope of work and scope supply and other requirements statedAttend periodical meeting with client to discuss on the engineering clarification and engineering status:Technical Query (TQR)Piping Insulation Document & Drawing Status (isometric drawings, P&ID’s, Piping GA’s, etc.)FIM & DM supply piping material statusEngineering Clarification / ProposalResponsible for the master material take off (MTO), procurement of insulation materials and to expedite delivery for materialsTake charge of master status of Engineering, Procurement and construction statusCoordinate with fabricator and project team for the execution of insulation workPrepare necessary documents for additional claim/instruction to sub-contractor (JCS/JCR/Site Instruction/Timesheet “A” and “AA”).Resolve engineering matters as advised or instructed by the department head and engineer managerEstablish sequence of priority for piping completion with other relevant departmentsEnsure work and materials are in accordance with sequence and stated quality standards and requirementsSupervise fabrication and installation of piping items are in accordance with drawings and clients specificationsOrganize and control shop fabrication activitiesJob RequirementsDegree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 8 years of experience in Marine Shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision worksHighly motivated individuals with good organizational skills and leadership skillsAble to adapt new work environment and able to lead independentlyActive and positive mindedProficient in MS Office applications (ie. Microsoft Excel)
