Position Summary:
The Mortgage Pipeline Manager plays a key administrative and operational role supporting the SVP of Sales and the mortgage team. This position is critical in keeping the mortgage pipeline organized and moving efficiently while ensuring the SVP of Sales can focus on driving business growth. The ideal candidate excels at managing complex schedules, communications, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Support
• Serve as the primary administrative partner to the SVP of Sales, expertly managing a complex calendar, coordinating meetings, and prioritizing scheduling requests to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and organize the SVP’s email inbox, triaging messages, drafting responses when appropriate, and ensuring timely follow-up on critical items.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily pipeline reports and updates for the SVP of Sales and other stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Identify and track key pipeline metrics to ensure transparency and smooth loan flow from application through closing.
• Communicate proactively with branch managers, loan officers, processors, and internal teams to gather pipeline updates and keep all stakeholders informed.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings, prepare agendas, record meeting notes, and track follow-up actions to completion.
4. Compliance & Process Improvement
• Uphold compliance with all applicable mortgage lending regulations, investor guidelines, and internal policies.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies within administrative and pipeline processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Represent Granite Bank’s values and commitment to exceptional service in all interactions with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience working in the mortgage industry, a bank, or financial services
• Previous experience as a Loan Officer, Loan Officer Assistant, or Processor.
• Proven track record of supporting mortgage loan officers.
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience working in mortgage related systems, such as, but not limited to: CRM, POS, LOS, Pricing Engines, and AMCs.
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
