DNV Energy System is seeking a detail-oriented

Pipeline Integrity Engineer/Senior Engineer

with computational modeling experience to work in our Integrity Solutions and Compliance Department. This position will report to our Dublin, OH office.

The Integrity Solutions and Compliance Department is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and services to the pipeline industry. We work together with pipeline operators to manage and maintain their assets, providing technical expertise to navigate the evolving landscape of the energy transition. This role is based at our DNV office in Dublin, OH. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.

What You'll Do

Collaborate professionally with a team of Engineers, Consultants, ILI Analysts, and clients.

Conduct data analysis from pipeline operators employing suitable methodologies.

Manage projects and assign tasks to other project team members.

Document findings and deliver clear technical results.

Write technical papers and present projects if desired.

Attend industry conferences to learn about new technologies and develop projects.

Participate in business development with existing projects and customers to build and maintain relationships.

Qualifications

What is Required

B.S. Degree or higher in Engineering.

At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant field.

Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or boundary element analysis (BEA).

Ability to understand and address client needs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Programming/process automation experience.

Strong technical writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and quick learning abilities.

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, hardworking, and professional mindset.

Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Manage fast-paced, high-demand environments.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Pre-employment drug and background screening required.

What is :

B.S. degree or higher in Material Science & Engineering, Mechancial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Experience working with clients/customers.

Experience working in the pipeline industry.

2D/3D CAD experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks).

Experience with Abaqus and/or COMSOL.
