Pipefitter w/ Medical Gas Certification

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSkillforce is currently hiring several Pipefitters with Medical Gas Certifications for contract to permanent commercial work in the Louisville, KY area!

Ability to weld .

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Select and arrange pipes according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
• Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauge kits.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Modify and maintain pipe systems and components as necessary.
• Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and mechanical engineers to ensure specifications are met.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulations to create a risk-free environment.

Pipefitter Qualifications:

• Med Gas Experience (Certification , or willing to get one)
• Proven experience as a pipefitter
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to weld
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
