Location: San Fernando Valley, California, with routes that extend to surrounding areas including Glendale and Pasadena as needed.
Job Type: Full-time, nonexempt. (Work hours may vary based on business needs, minimum number of hours are not guaranteed per week.)
Hourly Pay: $23–$27/hour (based on experience & licensing)

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed based on customer needs.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician/ Branch 2 Field Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and applying appropriate treatments to eliminate and prevent infestations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and other properties.
  • Identify pest problems and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Apply pesticides and other pest management solutions in accordance with regulations.
  • Complete daily assigned routes efficiently, ensuring all scheduled services are performed within the designated time frame.
  • Travel to multiple customer locations using a company vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and state/federal pest control regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and control practices.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work vehicle and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory and report restocking needs for tools, chemicals, and supplies.
  • Communicate clearly with office staff to coordinate schedules and updates.
  • Assist team members as needed during busy periods or for large service jobs.
  • Participate in company training and development opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support company operations and customer needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent ()
  • Valid Class C driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
  • 1–3 years of experience in pest control (required)
  • California Branch 2 Field Representative license or Qualified Applicator License (QAL) (required)
  • Must successfully complete required licensing, fingerprinting, and background checks in accordance with California law.
  • Strong knowledge of pest control methods, products, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with common infestations (roaches, rodents, bed bugs, etc.)
  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, use a ladder, and work in crawl spaces or attics.
  • Ability to operate software and app technology via cell phone and/or tablet.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively with strong attention to detail.
  • Coachable with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Must be able to reliably report to assignments in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding service areas within a reasonable commute time. Candidates should live within a commutable distance that allows for timely arrival at scheduled routes and potential same-day service calls.
