You will ensure senior leaders and the Board receive clear, timely, and high-quality insight that supports confident, evidence-based decision making.\n\nYou will combine strong analytical capability with strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and people leadership-translating complex operational, financial, and commercial data into clear executive narratives.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nYou will own and evolve the organisation's performance management approach, ensuring it is robust, relevant, and aligned to strategic priorities.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nPerformance Framework & Governance\n\nLead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of the performance management framework\nEnsure performance measures are clearly defined, consistent, and aligned to business objectives\nReview and refine performance reporting, forums, and governance to ensure they remain decision-focused\nEnsure alignment between performance management and wider organisational strategy \n\nExecutive Insight & Reporting\n\nDeliver high-quality performance insight to Executive and Board stakeholders\nCombine operational, financial, delivery, and external context into clear performance narratives\nPrepare and assure executive and board-level reports, packs, and presentations\nEnsure outputs are concise, accurate, and tailored to senior decision-making needs \n\nChallenge & Continuous Improvement\n\nAct as a critical friend to the business, challenging assumptions and performance narratives\nIdentify gaps or weaknesses in performance data and drive improvements\nImprove how performance is measured, reported, and understood across the organisation\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement and analytical excellence \n\nStakeholder Engagement & Leadership\n\nWork closely with Finance, governance, assurance, and functional teams \nInfluence senior stakeholders and ensure joined-up performance insight \nLine manage and develop a team of Business Performance Analysts \nSet clear standards for analytical quality, insight, and delivery \n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nYou will bring:\n\nExperience in business performance, MI, analytics, or management roles at a senior level\nProven exposure to executive or board-level reporting\nExperience leading or developing analytical teams\nStrong understanding of performance management in complex or regulated environments (or transferable experience)\nAbility to design or improve performance frameworks, reporting, or governance structures\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insight\nConfidence influencing senior stakeholders and challenging assumptions\nExcellent communication skills with strong narrative-building capability \n\nTechnical Skills\n\nStrong analytical capability using KPIs, metrics, and management information\nExperience with Power BI or similar reporting tools\nAdvanced Excel and data interpretation skills\nAbility to synthesise complex quantitative and qualitative information into clear messages\nExperience producing executive and board-level reporting materials \n\nApply now!\n\nPlease be advised: if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours, then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion.
