The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic People Operations Manager with a strong focus on recruitment and onboarding to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the full-cycle hiring process, develop talent acquisition strategies, and ensure an exceptional onboarding experience for all new hires. You’ll be instrumental in building a strong employer brand and creating smooth, engaging experiences from the first interview through the first 90 days of employment. This role will report to our Fractional Head of People and be based in our midtown Miami office.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with department heads to assess hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer negotiation.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, networking, social media, and employee referrals.
- Implement inclusive hiring practices to support , equity, and inclusion goals.
- Track recruitment metrics (time to hire, quality of hire, etc.) and provide regular reports to leadership.
- Design and oversee a comprehensive onboarding program that sets new hires up for success.
- Coordinate pre-boarding tasks, Day 1 , system access, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create structured 30-60-90 day onboarding plans.
- Conduct onboarding surveys and check-ins to ensure a smooth transition and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote company culture and values from the first point of contact with candidates through early-stage employee engagement.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies throughout the hiring and onboarding processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification a plus).
- 4+ years of experience in HR with a strong emphasis on recruitment and onboarding.
- Proven track record of successfully managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding programs.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems (e.g., ATS, HRIS), labor laws, and hiring compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for creating positive employee experiences and building strong teams.
