Job Title: Pedestrian Door Service Tech
Job Summary: responsible for the service, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pedestrian door systems
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe and working condition
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with problem solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Basic cell phone skills for work order entry, email, and service software
Experience Required:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, servicing, or repairing pedestrian door systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage control systems
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and safety inspections on door systems
- Prior field service experience, including customer interaction and job documentation
- Experience using service management or dispatch software
- Manufacturer or industry certifications
