Job Title: PDP / Supplier Quality Engineer

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company
Location: Horicon, WI 53032
Duration: 24 Months (Possible extension)
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary

Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for quality planning, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on PDP programs, supplier quality issues, and applying quality tools to improve manufacturing and product performance.

Key Responsibilities (Mobile-Friendly)

• Lead supplier quality planning for PDP and production programs
• Support supplier quality issue resolution and corrective actions
• Participate in FMEA, control plans, and design reviews
• Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments
• Drive root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving
• Ensure execution of RGA, SCR, and quality processes
• Analyze data to identify quality trends and improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, suppliers)
• Support continuous improvement (CI/VI) initiatives
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T

• Quality tools (FMEA, SPC, RCA, Six Sigma) – 2+ years
• Data analysis & statistical techniques – 2+ years
• GD&T and drawing interpretation – 1+ year
• Communication & facilitation skills – 2+ years

Skills

• Supplier audits & DPAR – 1+ year
• SAP (SAPPAG / SAPPDM) – 1+ year
• Lean manufacturing – 1+ year
• Audit processes (Process Verification, Special Process) – 1+ year
• Equipment / automotive / off-highway manufacturing – 1+ year

Technical / Functional Exposure

• Supplier quality engineering – 2+ years
• PDP (Product Development Process) – 1+ year
• Root cause & corrective action (8D) – 2+ years
• Statistical analysis & process control – 2+ years
• Quality systems & audits – 1+ year

Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering / manufacturing / supply chain
