Payer Operations Analyst- Business Development

This position in collaboration with practice leadership is responsible for tracking and management of provider registration, attestation and Meaningful Use payments and audits; responsible for the successful planning and execution of all FPI practice projects related to MIPS program registration and attestation for all eligible clinicians (EC’s). This includes the coordination, monitoring, and status reporting of all objective and clinical measures required to demonstrate an EC’s achievement of quality metric reporting thresholds. Works closely with leadership to collaborate with commercial and governmental payers to bring operational issues to resolution and report findings back to the practices; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* BA degree in healthcare administration or related field
* 3-5 years of experience in healthcare setting
* Experience with provider enrollment; inclusive of: 1. NPPES, 2. PECOS and payer credentialing processes
• Experience with quality reporting software tools including use of EPIC Hyperspace

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
