Your day to day as a Patient Service Technician
As a Full-Time Patient Service Technician at HME Specialists in Albuquerque, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with FDA and DOT regulations. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your assigned delivery vehicle, maintaining a safe and professional driving standard. You'll leverage your robust knowledge of our diverse medical products and services to assess and address each patient's unique needs, performing physical and psychosocial assessments throughout their care journey. With the ability to lift and transport cylinders exceeding 170lbs, efficient route planning becomes crucial to optimize timely deliveries.
Educating patients on their home medical equipment will enhance their treatment outcomes while you engage in ongoing training to bolster your skills. Additionally, you'll contribute to infection control practices and assist with warehouse duties, all while actively listening to resolve any service complaints within your scope of practice.
