Passive Fire Protection Project Manager\n\nLocation: London\n Salary: £500 - £600 per day \n Sector: Infrastructure | Rail | Major Projects\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Protection Project Manager to join a growing specialist contractor delivering high-profile infrastructure and rail projects across London.\n\nYou will take ownership of the design, commercial, and delivery of passive fire packages, working across structural steel, MEP penetrations, and compartmentation within complex live environments.\n\nThis is a hands-on role managing projects end-to-end, from design coordination through to site delivery and commercial close-out.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead delivery of passive fire protection packages across multiple assets/projects\nManage design coordination to ensure compliance with tested details, fire strategies, and British Standards\nAdminister contracts under NEC (NEC3/NEC4), including: \nCompensation Events\nEarly Warnings\nApplications for Payment\nOversee programme, cost, and resource management (CVR, Earned Value, planning)\nCoordinate with subcontractors and internal teams across MEP, structural, and fit-out trades\nEnsure all works meet FIRAS / ASFP standards and successfully pass audits\nProvide technical solutions for firestopping, fireboarding, and intumescent coatings\nManage QA, inspections, and assurance processes\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience in Passive Fire Protection / Firestopping\nBackground as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Senior Engineer\nStrong knowledge of: \nCompartmentation and fire strategy drawings\nTested details and certification\nStructural steel fire protection and penetration sealing\nExperience working with systems/products such as Rockwool, Promat, Hilti, FSi, British Gypsum, Sherwin Williams (or similar)\nStrong understanding of NEC contracts\nExperience on rail, tunnelling, or heavy civils projects (e.g. HS2, London Underground, infrastructure)\nStrong leadership and stakeholder management skills\n\nDesirable\n\nFIRAS or ASFP accreditation/knowledge\nExperience with intumescent coatings and DFT testing\nExposure to BIM coordination\nFire engineering or design coordination experience\n\nWhy Join\n\nOpportunity to work on major UK infrastructure projects\nStrong pipeline of secured work\nClear progression into senior leadership roles\nCompetitive salary and package\n\nApply\n\nIf you are a Passive Fire specialist with strong project delivery experience, we would welcome your application
