Parts & Service Specialist - Front Counter

Parts & Service Specialist duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Being a productive team member!
• Greeting and welcoming customers to the store!
• Assisting customer with their equipment service needs
  • Initializing the work order process, ensure all necessary information is collected and entered in the system
  • Loading/Unloading customers equipment for service/repair
  • Ensuring customers repair needs are relayed to the technicians thru the work order symptoms
  • Setting up pickup/delivery of the equipment for service
  • Providing updates to the customer throughout the service process
  • Reply to voicemails and service request through the company website
  • Ensure the Service Coordinator and Service Manager are informed of all problems and/or potential problems involving customers repairs and equipment
• Assisting customers with their equipment parts needs
  • Includes locating the proper parts using one of our parts systems
  • Processing the sales order to collect payment
  • Assist Parts room personnel with receiving, stocking, pulling parts when needed.
• Assisting customers with their small power equipment purchase: String Trimmers/Blowers, Power Tools etc.
• Answering the phone and assisting customers or ensure they get to the proper person who can assist.
• Stocking the showroom displays and keeping them neat and price tags up to date
• Occasionally assist with unloading deliveries
• Assist with the stocking of large seasonal parts & accessories orders
• Schedule:
  • Feb 1st thru Sept 30th.
    • Mon - Fri 7:30am - 5pm (One week day off) 
    • Sat 8am - 12 Noon
  • Oct 1st thru Jan 31st we are closed on Saturdays
    • Mon - Fri 40 hours
