We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our parts engineering group based in Louisville, KY.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Mainly use AutoCAD and some Inventor 3D software to develop detail part and assembly drawings for mechanical equipment. Equipment fabricated at this facility is of all variations for processing aggregates. It ranges from drying equipment, conveyors, air filtration, pneumatic & hydraulic systems.
• Interpret existing prints and release for production new prints on a daily basis.
• Create installation drawings.
• Support fabrication on manufacturing floor as needed.
• Look up and modify existing drawings.
• Check dimensions and materials to be used.
• Confer with customer representatives for review of equipment.
• Contacting customer by phone and computer to review equipment.
• Some filing and data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented.
• Be able to specify and locate individual components, i.e. bearings, air cylinders, hardware, etc.
• Able to work extra hours, especially from mid-October to mid-March.
• Some travel required, local and out of state.
• Be able to climb and maneuver in tight spaces at plant sites.
• Must be able to accurately measure individual equipment components and entire assemblies.
