Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Paint Process Engineer - Automotive Production PlantCompany Location:- Savannah, GARoles and Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Paint Shop Facilities personnel and contractors.• Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, task assignments, and performance standards• Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, address challenges, and promote best practices• Ensure thorough cleaning of paint booths, equipment exteriors, floors, ceilings, and surrounding areas• Oversee the control and elimination of dust, debris, and airborne particles• Monitor and maintain air filtration systems, exhaust fans, and ventilation units• Schedule and supervise inspections and preventative maintenance of booth intakes, grates, ductwork, and filter housing.• Ensure all cleaning and disposal activities comply with company policies and environmental regulations• Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks, filter changes, inspections, and waste disposal• Prepare reports for upper management on facility conditions, team performance, and compliance metrics• Work closely with paint shop operators to minimize disruptions and maintain clean production flow• Coordinate with Environmental Health & Safety teams to ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.• Support engineering and quality teams in identifying and resolving contamination-related issuesRequired Skills:- Proficiency in operating paint application equipment.- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Skills:- Experience in automotive paint processes and materials.- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production environment.- Knowledge of matching techniques and paint formulations.
