We are offering a paid, after-school for motivated high school or vocational school (PTEC) students who want hands-on experience in machining, mechanical engineering, fabrication, and industrial automation. This is an opportunity to work directly with our chief engineer, gaining mentorship and becoming their “right hand” in daily operations. The ideal candidate is not only curious and mechanically inclined but also driven to grow with the company and step into future leadership.

What You’ll Learn

• Machining on manual and CNC equipment (lathes, mills)

• Fusion 360 CAD software and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM)

• PLC programming and industrial control systems

• Welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly

• Facilities management and shop operations

• How to lead projects, manage priorities, and solve real-world problems in engineering environments

Traits We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who:

• Have strong mechanical reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Show curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn

• Can follow direction while also growing into a leadership role

• Enjoy understanding how things work and applying practical knowledge

• Are dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

• Can safely lift up to 30 lbs
