What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain detailed production schedules across multiple print and packaging lines.
  • \n

  • Balance customer deadlines with machine capacity, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • \n

  • Monitor live jobs, adapt to changing priorities and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Work closely with procurement and sales to ensure materials and stock levels align with customer demand.
  • \n

  • Spot opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and increase productivity.
  • \n

What you’ll need

    \n
  • Proven experience in production planning — within print or packaging.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of scheduling systems/ERP/MRP tools.
  • \n

  • Calm under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • \n

  • Sharp attention to detail, great organisation and clear communication.
  • \n

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • \n
