3rd Shift Production Operator

American Wood Fibers (AWF) is a manufacturer of both consumer and industrial products that are sold to multiple manufacturers as well as pet, agricultural, and home-heating markets. AWF is comprised of 450+ employees and holds operations at 11 locations, generating over $100M in annual sales revenue. We are currently seeking a candidate for the 3rd Shift Production Operator roles in our Lebanon, KY facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Employee is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize production and shipping of products and raw material.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• PRODUCTION
• Operate a machine with good hand-eye coordination at a fast pace to make rate
• Sweep and shovel excess material around the packaging equipment and warehouse during the end of the shift clean up
• Perform outside duties, including sweeping and picking up debris
• SAFETY
• Exercise caution in the production area due to mobile equipment moving the finished product out of the production area
• Attend monthly safety meetings
• Attend safety trainings as needed and complete required testing with sufficient results

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift 20-40 lbs.
• Physical capability to bend, squat, or stoop

Industrial Machine Operating: 1 Year ()

COMPENSATION

Starting:

3rd Shift - $17.05 per hour
