Job Description
Job Title: Packaging Operator – 3rd Shift
\nLocation: Milford, CT
\nSchedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
\nHourly Rate: $26.20/hr

Job Summary:
\nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our production team. This role involves operating automated production machines, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring efficient production processes in a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
\n\n

Operate automated production machinery safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training guidelines.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Supply machines with components and materials to maintain continuous operations and complete shift-end filling requirements.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Perform product changeovers and verify bill of materials accuracy in a timely manner.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Respond promptly to machine stops and collaborate with mechanics for repair and maintenance.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet established standards and maintain required documentation and shift reports.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Maintain accurate production and inventory records and communicate effectively with team members, support departments, and leadership.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Complete additional packaging tasks as required to meet safety and production goals.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Work overtime and weekends as required; flexibility for shift changes is essential.
\n\t\n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
\n\t\n\t

Follow and comprehend complex procedural and verbal instructions.
\n\t\n\t

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Qualification on current and future packaging machines and equipment.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Maintain satisfactory safety, quality, attendance, and performance records.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Effective communication skills with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
\n\t\n

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
\n\t\n\t
- \n\t
Experience operating high-speed automated production machines in a safe work environment.
\n\t\n
