Our client is looking for an experienced Package Lead (Civil/Buildings) for an LNG project in Germany.

• Contract Length: 12 Month Contract – Extendable
• Working pattern: 40 hours per week
• Location: Hamburg, Germany – Onsite
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil/structural engineering, fabrication and construction execution of all structures and buildings (except LNG tanks).
• Ensure proper development and implementation by the contractor of civil/building designs and interface with electromechanical works.
• Supervise contractor activities across excavation, piling, concrete, steel erection, buildings, roads, and landscaping.
• Oversee QA/QC compliance, inspections, testing, NCRs/CARs, and final handover.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE plans, local permitting, Eurocodes, DIN standards, and German construction practices.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience in heavy civil/structural engineering on large EPC industrial/energy projects.
• Proven track record as Package Lead or Construction Manager delivering structural packages from design through construction.
• MSc/BSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes (EN 1990–1999), DIN standards, and German permitting processes.
• Previous work experience in Germany is a must.
