About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the Capital Region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, has knowledge of construction or building materials, and thrives in a customer-focused environment.

Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and other customers across the region.
• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and territory development.
• Provide product knowledge and support to customers, ensuring they have the right materials for their projects.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and pricing to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall growth.

Outside Sales Representative Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales experience (construction materials, building supplies, or related industry a plus).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with the Capital Region construction market is a plus.

Compensation

• Competitive earning potential up to $100k+ annually based on base salary plus commission.
