Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Fluid Power

We provide customers with products and solutions within Fluid Power, Fluid Process, Fluid Conveyance, General Industrial Components, and Industrial Service & Repair.

We currently have an exciting Fluid Power Outside Sales opportunity available based in the Baton Rouge area. In this role you will develop new business while being assisted by our highly knowledgeable customer service team and supportive managers.

Essential Functions

Work with your District Sales Manager to create a sales plan to develop a prospect list to capture new business

Full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations

Regularly meet with Sales Supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers

Collaborate with knowledgeable customer service and technical support teams who will assist you in meeting and exceeding your sales goals

Understanding of the market in the territory to generate and prospect for new business

Utilization of tools and resources to plan and manage time and territory

Cadence and accountability - weekly review with the sales manager

Expanding while maintaining existing business

Experience, Education, Skills

Bachelor's degree in related discipline OR a 2-year technical degree, preferably in Fluid Power; OR any suitable combination of education, training, and work experience

1-3 years industrial or technical outside sales experience

Application and troubleshooting experience with fluid power products and systems is

Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Valid driver's license

Occasional overnight travel may be required
