Outbound Logistics Coordinator in Houston

Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

• Complete logistics control of assigned shipping warehouse(s) across all outbound shipping modes (LTL, FTL, 3PL, Parcel)

• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, sales and operations to ensure orders are shipped and delivered according to customer requirements

• Respond and follow up with all inquiries (written and verbal) from vendors, customers, sales team and operations in a timely, accurate, efficient manner

• Work within the outbound partners program to ensure cost is regulated on FTL shipments

Skills:

· Proficient with ERP and TMS Systems

· Excellent analytical, problem solving & organizational skills

· Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion

· Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgement & analytical ability.

Education and/or experience:

· 3+ years in customer service and logistics environment
