OSP Construction Coordinator (Outside Plant)

About Us

Bogo Telecom is a growing telecommunications company supporting large-scale HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coax) network upgrades across Alaska. We are seeking an experienced OSP Construction Coordinator to support outside plant construction activities, coordinate with contractors and field crews, and track daily progress for ongoing infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily outside plant (OSP) construction activities with contractors and construction crews
• Serve as a daily point of contact for field crews, inspectors, and vendors
• Track construction progress including power supply installations, pedestal placement, cable placement, and related OSP work
• Prepare and submit daily activity reports detailing completed work, issues, and next steps
• Maintain accurate tracking logs using Microsoft Office 365, and other project management tools
• Monitor schedules, quantities, and work status to support project timelines
• Work closely with department managers, engineering, and operations teams to provide regular updates on HFC upgrade projects
• Identify field issues, material needs, and construction conflicts and escalate as needed
• Support documentation, reporting, and closeout activities



Qualifications

• Prior experience in OSP telecommunications construction required
• Strong understanding of outside plant infrastructure and construction workflows
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work with multiple contractors and crews in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills
