Position Summary
The Order Fulfillment & Logistics Coordinator ensures that all customer orders are processed, scheduled, and shipped accurately and on time while also managing inbound inventory scheduling to keep operations running smoothly. This role is accountable for the entire order fulfillment process—from coordinating schedules and preparing shipments to ensuring quality control and accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities
Order Scheduling & Fulfillment
- Schedule customer orders to meet promised ship dates and delivery deadlines.
- Oversee the picking and packing process to ensure order accuracy, completeness, and quality.
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to align schedules and resources.
Shipping & Freight Coordination
- Arrange freight for orders, including scheduling carriers and preparing shipping paperwork.
- Ensure all outbound shipments — domestic and international — are on time, compliant, and properly documented.
- Manage small package shipments through various carriers.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in fulfillment and shipping.
Inbound Scheduling & Receiving
- Schedule inbound inventory deliveries and coordinate dock times with carriers and suppliers.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and address discrepancies.
Inventory & Process Improvement
- Resolve inventory discrepancies; implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
Warehouse Operations & Team Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Proactively work with other departments and leaders to align priorities and ensure smooth fulfillment and logistics operations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support quarterly and annual company objectives (“rocks”) as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of shipping and freight coordination, including international documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
