OPERATIONS/PRODUCTION MANAGER
The role provides technical knowledge, production/manufacturing operations experience, and management skills in the coordination of all elements of the production operations while interfacing with cross-functional areas in the attainment of short and long-term company objectives.

Core Job Responsibilities
- Design and establish efficient production lines based on sound Industrial Engineering, Lean, and Six Sigma concepts. Guide Production Supervisors and Line Leads to implement new and modified production lines.
- Collaborate with Warehousing/Logistics and Order Management to develop and implement SOPs on capacity and production planning. Train Production Supervisors how to effectively work with Order Management and Warehousing/Logistics to implement these SOPs.
- Monitor productivity, motivate production workers, and deliver to committed KPIs with CEO.
- Enforce current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring production targets are met and the quality, safety, and cleanliness, standards are maintained and adhered to.
- Reward and recognize work above and beyond the call of duty.
- Work closely with Quality, Logistics, and Order Management to track and report on production, inventory, and quality KPI’s on daily and/or as required basis.
- Develop performance standards and manages worker performance accordingly.
- Recruit, select, and orient new workers.
- Knowledge of electromechanical fundamentals and hand tools
- Complete any additional tasks as requested by Management, even if that task is not listed as a direct responsibility.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous operations and production managerial experience required (2-3 years).
- Manufacturing and food & beverage experience (5+ years).
- Knowledge of cGMP, HACCP, SQF, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
- Prefer demonstrated mechanical ability & technical aptitude.
- Computer literacy a MUST (groupware technologies and Microsoft Office)
- Bilingual English, Spanish a PLUS
Education: Industrial Engineering, Lean-Six Sigma Black Belt with at least two years of experience.
Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
