Job Overview:
The Operations Production Planner is responsible for planning production operations and inventory management under the direction of the Plant Manager. They will work with all departments for planning operations and accountability of inventory for each product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan daily schedule for production; assigning productions tickets to each line
- Check on micro status, client approvals, and assay testing for bulk
- Work closely with Project Managers on component shortages, rework and project timelines
- Run bulk inventory reports and schedule accordingly
- Collaborate daily with Compounding Manager for bulk updates/changes, batch date and priorities
- Monitor comments on Planning schedule for Project Manager updates
- Updating the Master PT Issued Log weekly
- Monitor and verify SO’s with Hold status daily
- Send reminders to Project Managers on production tickets
- Revise training manual as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a manufacturing operations production planner
- Knowledge of raw materials and production process
- Understanding of production planning
- Strong Knowledge and experience of ERP systems
- Excellent time management skills and analytical skills
- Proficient with Google suite and MS Office
