We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Workshop & Technical Operations Lead to oversee the technical crew and ensure the smooth running of daily operations within the clients workshop. This is a critical role within a fast-paced, high-growth business - ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has experience working in a scale-up or start-up setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe and efficient working environment by implementing and maintaining robust health & safety protocols.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of technical crew members to consistently meet high performance and quality standards.
Oversee and optimise daily workshop operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with company processes.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to improve system reliability and identify recurring issues, feeding insights back into process improvements.
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring critical components are available when needed through effective supplier relationship management.
Drive continuous improvement across operations, drawing on your experience in agile, high-growth environments.
Experience & Skills Required:
Proven experience in a similar operational or technical leadership role
Demonstrated success working within a start-up or scale-up environment, where adaptability, ownership, and problem-solving are key
Hands-on experience with writing and implementing policies
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and managing multiple priorities effectively
