Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing and custom fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing operations, a deep understanding of custom fabrication techniques, and a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions in niche industries. As the Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and profitability of our production processes while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
• Manage and optimize the custom fabrication process, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing processes with overall business objectives
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
• Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, technicians, and support staff
• Manage inventory levels, supply chain logistics, and vendor relationships
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manufacturing and custom fabrication
• Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate new technologies and processes into existing manufacturing operations
• Develop and manage budgets for the manufacturing department
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the company's long-term growth initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in custom fabrication processes and techniques
• In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and ERP systems
