The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) department or multiple PDR locations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality dent repair services while driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. It requires a blend of technical expertise, strong leadership, and business acumen to lead a team of technicians, optimize processes, and grow the business.
PLEASE NOTE: This position is based in Canada. The successful candidate must live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and speak French and English.
Requirements:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of PDR technicians and support staff, ensuring high performance and quality.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Ensure quality control by conducting inspections to ensure repairs meet company standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth, increase market share, and improve customer acquisition.
Process Improvement:
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer acquisition.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all repairs.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Responsible for customer service issues, including providing estimates, addressing complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, insurance companies and suppliers ensuring alignment on quality expectations and performance.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, handling escalated issues and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Track and analyze KPI’s (repair volume, turnaround times, customer satisfaction to drive performance improvements.
- Any other duties assigned by your direct supervisor or leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, Business Management, or a related field is .
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive reconditioning, repair, or a related field.
Skills:

Working conditions
