Job Description
Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to optimize end-to-end production by eliminating waste & maximizing efficiency. You will lead cross-functional teams to improve SQDC using lean methodologies, acting as the "architect" of the product flow. Each line has 12-24 employees, total headcount not to exceed 60.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability
- Culture & Safety: Demonstrate safe & conscious work habits, ensuring all team members are following our Culture of Zero policies for safety & quality, while driving team member engagement within the value stream.
- Value Stream Mapping: Create and analyze current and future state maps to eliminate waste (scrap, delays, overproduction).
- Operational Excellence: Lead daily operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals (5S, compliance) are met.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement lean techniques (Kaizen, 6 Sigma) to reduce lead times and enhance flow.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor all value stream KPIs to identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions.
Qualifications
- 3-6+years manufacturing supervisory experience
- Foundation in lean/continuous improvement
- BSIE/BSME & LSSGB strongly , but experience weighted over degree
- US or Green Card Holder
