Position Summary:
The Operations Manager is a Key Leadership Position which directs Service, Distribution, and the Installation Operations for our Commercial Vended Laundry Business by performing the following duties personally or through supervisors.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates Laundry Machine service, delivery, warehousing, machine installation and replacement
- Supervises installations of machines in New Jersey and the 5 Boroughs of NY
- Confers with customers, employees, supervisors and management to evaluate and promote improved and expanded services in area
- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees
- Hires outside contractors for some construction work
- Coordinates vehicle purchase and maintenance operations
- Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in installation, and service and production departments
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
