Operations Manager in Gloucester
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage an expanding team of Contracts Managers and trades dealing with property insurance reinstatement & restoration works across the South West region. You will need insurance reinstatement industry experience and must have strong staff & operations management background. This is a hybrid role; a driving licence is essential and you must be willing to travel.

- Primary: CF, NP, HR, GL, BA, BS
- Secondary: EX, TA, DT, SN
Responsibilities:
- Management of circa. 25 including Contracts Managers, restoration & reinstatement trades and a small administration team
- Proactively manage all WIP for team; ensure projects are programmed/scheduled effectively and profit margins are achieved whilst ensuring quality of works
- Oversee compliance under CDM regs and manage Health & Safety
- Attend customer reviews and audits
- Complete tenders when required and help grow regional business opportunities
- Manage program of works of large complex claims
- KPI / SLA management
- Investigation and resolution of complaints
- Recruitment of staff and sub-contractors as required
Experience required:
- Insurance property repairs industry experience (ideally reinstatement and/or restoration)
- Staff Management
- Operational experience is essential including management of resources, costs, profitability, third party relations and managing KPI’s & SLA’s
- Driving licence
Package details
- Salary £60k-65k
- Car allowance £500pm
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- 33 days holiday (inc. bank holidays)
- Pension Scheme
