Operations Manager - Facilities & Janitorial Services
Honolulu, HI | Full-Time | All Shift Rotation (including overnight: 9:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
$85,000 - $100,000 annually

We're hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee janitorial and facility operations across multiple client sites. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations or facilities management and 4+ years supervising teams of 25+ employees, preferably in commercial cleaning. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Supervise Cleaning Operations: Oversee janitorial and maintenance activities, enforce cleaning standards, support teams on-site, and promote accountability
• Training, Scheduling & Performance: Train staff on safety and procedures, manage weekly schedules, adjust staffing as needed, and lead performance reviews
• Quality Control & Client Relations: Conduct inspections, address deficiencies, and lead client walkthroughs to ensure satisfaction
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA, state, and company safety regulations; manage SDS compliance and proper PPE usage
• Inventory & Budget Management: Maintain supply levels, oversee equipment maintenance, and manage labor and material costs within budget

Top Requirements

• 5+ years in operations or facilities management (janitorial/commercial cleaning )
• 4+ years supervising teams of 25+ employees
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• High school diploma or GED (Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus)

• Background in building maintenance, custodial services, or facility operations
• Bilingual a plus
• Experience with janitorial scheduling or work order systems
