About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Manager to lead a newly established Manchester division. This pivotal role offers the chance to shape and grow a regional business unit from the ground up, with a clear path into the Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of recladding and fire remediation projects valued up to £20M, acting as Principal Contractor. The role requires operational leadership across multiple sites, commercial oversight, team development, and client relationship management.

This is a rare opening for an ambitious and capable leader to make a lasting impact — both within the business and across the wider construction and building safety landscape.

Salary & Benefits

• £75,000 – £90,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior operational role such as Operations Manager, Senior Contracts Manager, or similar
• Strong background in facades, cladding, and external envelope systems, ideally including fire remediation projects
• Experience delivering projects as Principal Contractor, with values up to £10m
• Excellent knowledge of building safety regulations, CDM, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage and lead high-performing project teams
• Commercially minded with excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ambitious, proactive, and committed to building a successful regional presence
