Operations Manager in East Canton

Job Description

Arrowhead is helping a rapidly growing manufacturer in Canton, fill a new Operations Manager position.

This person will establish reliable daily production accountability, strengthen shift leadership, improve shift-to-shift communication, and put basic operating discipline around scheduling, maintenance, housekeeping, and performance management.

\n

\n

Primary Responsibilities:

\n

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple shifts.

\n

• Coordinate production schedules, labor resources, maintenance priorities, and customer commitments.

\n

• Build a culture where expectations are clear, performance is measured, and accountability is consistently enforced.

\n

• Coach supervisors and employees through performance feedback, evaluations, and corrective action when necessary.

\n

• Lead daily production meetings and ensure effective shift handoffs.

\n

• Coordinate maintenance priorities and verify equipment is production-ready before returning it to service.

\n

• Work closely with warehouse, inventory, shipping, and office staff to maintain operational flow.

\n

• Implement and sustain workplace organization, visual management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

\n

• Develop supervisors and identify future leaders within the organization.

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Five or more years of manufacturing leadership experience.

\n

• Demonstrated experience managing and developing front-line supervisors or production leads - not solely managing hourly production employees.
