The Pond Digger is one of the most recognized water feature construction companies in the country. We design and build high-end koi ponds, waterfalls, lakes, and aquatic ecosystems.
Our projects combine landscape construction, plumbing, rock placement, excavation, and ecosystem design.
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager / Superintendent to oversee construction operations and ensure our crews are set up to succeed.
This role is responsible for coordinating crews, materials, schedules, and job progress so projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily construction operations across multiple projects
Coordinate crew scheduling and job timelines
Ensure materials and equipment are prepared prior to job start
Track job progress and ensure projects stay on schedule
Work with the office team to organize job folders and documentation
Communicate with crew leaders and ensure accountability
Review pull sheets and materials for accuracy
Monitor job completion timelines and crew productivity
Help maintain a smooth workflow between retail, warehouse, and construction teams
Identify problems before they become delays
Support leadership in improving systems and efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in construction, landscape construction, or similar field
Experience managing crews or supervising job sites
Strong organizational and scheduling skills
Ability to read job scopes and coordinate materials
Comfortable communicating with crews, office staff, and leadership
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license
Experience:
Landscape construction
Hardscape installation
Pond or water feature construction
Plumbing or irrigation systems
Equipment operation
Construction scheduling or project management software
Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening.
