Operations Manager - Commercial Furniture Installation & Services

We are seeking a Operations Manager! You will be responsible for the effective management and profitable operation of the Raleigh - Durham branch office.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to VP of Operations in Charlotte, NC.
• Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
• Formulate business strategy with other members of the management team.
• Monitor performance of the organization to identify efficiency issues and determine what can be improved and what should be changed.
• Ensure invoices are properly reviewed.
• Manages installation supervisors, installers, and field operations. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment according to company policies and client requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that daily installation / field job reports are transmitted at the end of each day.
• Must possess a very professional attitude and be able to interact with clients on job sites (must be able to balance job objectives within given time frame and keep clients happy and satisfied with our services.)
• Review projects with issues, determine the problems, how to revolve them, and how to prevent similar problems in the future.
• Responsible for project management duties as needed.
• Assumes responsibility for other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with modular office furniture and demountable wall systems.
• Must know the installation process: safely staging / moving product, uncartoning, trash removal & recycling, installing, and tearing down product.
• Must be able to read product labels and recognize different products and systems.
• Must be able to read construction diagrams and floor plans and understand symbols used.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
• Strong leadership qualities
