Operations Manager

Location: Columbus, NC
Salary: $60,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time
Reports To: CEO

About the Role

We are a staffing firm partnering with a growing custom homebuilder to hire a strategic and highly organized Operations Manager. This role will report directly to the CEO and oversee business operations across non-construction departments including business development, marketing, HR, and finance.

This position is ideal for a systems-minded leader who thrives in small business environments and knows how to build structure, accountability, and scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO to execute company strategy
• Oversee business operations across:
• • Business Development
  • Marketing initiatives
  • Human Resources
  • Financial tracking and reporting
• Track company progress toward revenue goals and KPIs
• Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies
• Build and implement repeatable systems and workflows
• Introduce tools that improve company-wide communication and efficiency
• Support hiring, onboarding, and team scaling initiatives
• Create dashboards and reporting structures to drive data-based decisions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations experience in a small business environment
• Proven track record of implementing systems and improving efficiency
• Experience scaling small to mid-size teams
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent listener and communicator
• Comfortable working directly with executive leadership
• Construction industry experience strongly
