Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is seeking an Operations Manager to join their growing, non-union, mid-sized manufacturing team. This fast-paced organization is looking for a strong leader to bring their operations to the next level.

Job summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily activities and strategic planning for the facility to achieve safety, quality, and manufacturing targets. Purview includes all functions in operations, maintenance and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring employee safety is top priority, which includes providing all necessary training and equipment needed
  • Drive positive, focused culture; Lead and engage
  • Developing staff and identifying high potential employees for succession planning
  • Deliver on efficiency goals, quality targets, profitability, inventory, revenue, and other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities throughout the facility

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or higher degree in Engineering or other related field
  • Minimum 8 years of manufacturing leadership experience with at least 5 years at the Production Manager level or higher
  • Experience in a fast-paced Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier manufacturing environment
  • Ex[erience with forging or foundry is
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six-sigma, and/or Theory of Constraints Manufacturing Principles
  • Critical thinker, able to self-manage and be collaborative.
  • Ability to travel on occasion for business meetings.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary range $110,000 - $130,000
  • Performance bonus potential up to 10%
