The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing and innovative manufacturing business based in Beverley. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of a key business unit, overseeing production, warehouse operations, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations across production, warehouse, and distribution
- Ensure production and demand planning aligns with customer requirements
- Monitor and improve performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage production schedules to meet demand forecasts
- Ensure consistent product quality and compliance with standards
- Work closely with procurement and inventory teams to maintain material availability
- Identify and resolve operational and production issues efficiently
- Oversee order fulfilment, dispatch, and delivery processes
- Optimise transport and distribution to improve service levels and reduce costs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners and suppliers
- Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams
- Manage staffing levels, training, and performance reviews
- Promote a positive and productive working culture
- Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations

About You
\n

- Proven experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
- Experience working with KPIs and driving continuous improvement
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Experience with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
