• Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience, education, and qualifications)

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational execution across sales operations, order fulfillment, OEM project coordination, and cross-functional alignment. This role ensures that internal processes run smoothly, customer commitments are executable, and operational issues are identified and resolved efficiently.

This position requires regular collaboration with China-based manufacturing and engineering teams. Due to time zone , the role involves periodic engagement during China business hours, often in a non-continuous and task-based manner, rather than extended working shifts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations & Execution Management

  • Manage daily operational activities related to:
    • Sales orders and fulfillment
    • OEM / customization project coordination
    • Internal task tracking and follow-ups
  • Ensure operational commitments are executed on time and in alignment with internal processes
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and support issue resolution

2. Cross-Functional & Factory Coordination

  • Serve as a coordination point between internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance) and China-based manufacturing partners
  • Handle routine factory communications, including:
    • Production status updates
    • Sample progress and approvals
    • Shipment readiness and timeline confirmations
  • Support issue clarification and follow-up across time zones

3. Order & Project Tracking

  • Track order status, production progress, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines
  • Support OEM projects by monitoring milestones, samples, documentation, and approvals
  • Escalate risks, delays, or discrepancies with clear context and proposed next steps

4. Process Execution & Improvement

  • Execute and maintain existing SOPs and operational workflows
  • Identify recurring execution issues and inefficiencies
  • Support incremental process improvements under Operations leadership guidance

5. Reporting & Operational Visibility

  • Maintain operational trackers, dashboards, and documentation
  • Provide regular updates to Operations leadership and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy and information consistency across systems

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, supply chain, or sales operations
  • Experience in managing direct reports
  • Experience working with China-based factories or suppliers is strongly
  • Comfortable with cross-time-zone collaboration, including handling periodic, non-continuous tasks during China business hours
  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and execution skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ERP / CRM experience is a plus
  • Mandarin fluency required (reading, writing, and speaking), due to daily communication with domestic and overseas partners

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related field
• Certifications in operations, project management, logistics, or supply chain are a plus
