Operations Manager\n Birmingham & Dublin\nSalary- Negotiable \n5 days out of 7 – 9:00am- 5:00pm \n\nWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and support operations across the UK and Ireland. This is a pivotal role within a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation that provides innovative solutions to the retail sector.\nThe ideal candidate will be energetic, adaptable, and able to inspire and motivate teams while ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites. You will be responsible for driving performance, embedding effective systems and processes, and ensuring consistent delivery of the company’s strategic goals.\n \nKey Responsibilities\n\nWork closely with the Operations Director to deliver the wider operational strategy.\nManage, mentor, and support a team of department managers across the UK and Ireland.\nReview and assess team performance, providing coaching to build capability.\nIdentify key milestones and ensure that targets are achieved within agreed timeframes.\nDrive improvements in team motivation, performance, and morale.\nFoster collaboration across departments, encouraging cross-functional working.\nBuild and deliver departmental strategies aligned with business opportunities.\nSupport change initiatives and guide the team through periods of transition.\nAddress operational issues effectively, including conflict resolution where necessary.\nEnsure robust systems and processes are in place and consistently followed.\nDevelop strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.\nProvide cross-office support, working flexibly across UK and Ireland operations. \nRequirements \n\nProven track record of managing large and diverse operational teams.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.\nStrong financial awareness with experience in budgeting, cost management, and supplier negotiation.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to learn and utilise new internal systems quickly and effectively.\nFull, clean driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland. \nBenefits\n\nFull-time role based at the Birmingham head office.
