Operations Manager
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Relate Search has partnered with an industry leader in power to identify an Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance, while driving continuous improvement across systems, teams, and processes. The Operations Manager will provide leadership, optimize plant performance, and ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Direct the Operations Team to maintain reliable, safe, and efficient plant operations.
• Ensure maximum efficiency and output, while taking corrective action as needed to maintain optimal conditions.
• Analyze operating results and equipment performance to implement improvements that enhance reliability and reduce costs.
• Maintain compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety requirements, ensuring employees are trained and prepared to respond to issues.
• Oversee training, performance, and development of plant employees to build capability and ensure continuous operations.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience in power plant operations, including supervisory leadership responsibilities.
• Combined cycle/gas turbine power plant experience .
• Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills with proven ability to manage teams effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience .
