Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Tampa Bay, FL (hybrid - remote/office/field)
Reports To: CEO/Owner, CXR Solutions
Coordinates with: Remediation Lead, Plumbing Lead, Contracting Lead (“Department Leads”)
Position Overview
The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of all three business units at CXR Solutions: Remediation, Plumbing, and Contracting. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s operations while maintaining high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. The Operations Manager will coordinate directly with the leads of each division and will be instrumental in streamlining processes, managing budgets, and ensuring the timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management

Oversee the high level operations of all three business units: Remediation, Plumbing, and Contracting.
Develop and implement operational procedures, ensuring alignment with company goals and policies. -
Monitor and improve operational efficiency, reducing costs and enhancing productivity.

Ensure administrative & quality standards are met across all service areas, adhering to regulatory and safety requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner to avoid project delays.

Coordinate with clients and schedules when Department Leads are unable to do so

Receive and respond to incoming client communication (email, text, phone)
2. Leadership and Coordination

Facilitate regular performance evaluations, set & monitor team goals, and provide ongoing updates to Leadership Team for company progress.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and professional growth.

Ensure staff is adequately trained and adhere to company standards and safety protocols.
3. Budgeting and Cost Management

Assist with developing and managing departmental budgets, ensuring projects remain on track financially.

Track expenses and labor costs, providing recommendations for improvements and cost-saving measures.

Prepare and manage forecasts and resource planning to ensure smooth operational flow.

Report revenue and profitability to Leadership Team weekly.
4. Project Support

Monitor project timelines, working with Department Leads to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality or safety.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure all resources (personnel, materials, etc.) are properly allocated.

Develop and manage project schedules, providing support to ensure all aspects of the projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with client expectations.
5. Client Relations and Communication

Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding operational issues, concerns, and updates.

Ensure the seamless communication between clients and leads.

Address client feedback promptly and work to resolve issues as they arise.
6. Health, Safety, and Compliance

Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to remediation, plumbing, and contracting. Ensure licenses and required training stay up to date in order to remain compliant.

Oversee safety protocols and ensure that all team members are fully trained in safety procedures.

Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
7. Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to streamline operations.

Implement new technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications

Proven experience in managing operations in a service-based industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.

Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, growing company environment.
Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field ().

Experience in an operations, management, or leadership role
Additional Requirements

Must have reliable transportation, cell phone, laptop, and internet access
Pay Structure
Base:
● $65,000-80,000 per year base full-time pay based on experience
Bonus:
● Quarterly bonus opportunities
