Elevation Recruitment Group are working exclusively with a leading manufacturer in West Yorkshire to recruit a Operations Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior manufacturing leader to take full ownership of production operations. With a focus on driving efficiency, automation upgrades and continuous improvement while leading and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Lead and support manufacturing-related projects, including automation upgrades, process
- improvements, and capital investments
- Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans to meet operational targets
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all production processes
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standard
We are keen to speak with Operations Managers / Plant Managers with:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Experience of developing a team within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with implementing or overseeing automation and efficiency initiatives
- Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and best practices
- Proven ability to lead operational change and improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
