A growing contractor within the ICP and renewables space is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery and maintenance of nationwide projects across Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar PV, and high voltage infrastructure (11kV-132kV). This is a permanent position offering long-term progression and the opportunity to join a forward-thinking business at the forefront of the clean energy transition.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOverseeing the operational delivery of installation and maintenance works on private networks\nManaging solar and BESS projects, ensuring timely and safe execution across multiple sites\nLeading and developing a operations team, reporting into the Operations Director\nActing as a key point of contact for clients, with regular involvement in project and commercial meetings\nManaging contracts, budgets, resources, and risk in line with business objectives\nDriving HSEQ compliance, workforce productivity, and continuous improvement\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nStrong background in operations management within the power, utilities, or renewable energy sectors\nTechnical knowledge of BESS, solar, and high voltage infrastructure up to 132kV\nProven experience managing field-based operational teams across multiple live sites\nExcellent client-facing and leadership skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach\nFamiliarity with ICP processes, NERS, CDM regulations, and relevant HSEQ frameworks\nFlexibility to travel across the UK as required but remain local to the office in Yorkshire\n\nBenefits:\n\n£70,000-£80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\nDiscretionary performance-based bonus\nCompany vehicle and fuel card\n5% pension contribution\nInvolvement in high-profile and innovative renewable energy projects\nLong-term career development within a growing organisationIf you're an experienced Operations Manager ready to lead high-value projects within the UK's growing private networks and renewables market, we'd like to hear from you.
