Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, supervise, and conduct performance reviews for Operations Crew members.
  • Provide training, guidance, and on-site support to crews, including billboard installation, maintenance, and vegetation control when necessary.
  • Manage the Operations workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are in working order and inventory is stocked.
  • Schedule and assign daily work orders, job routes, and hotel accommodation for overnight stays.
  • Oversee and approve weekly payroll, expenses, and Proof of Performance (POP) documentation; follow up on missing items.
  • Track delivery of vinyls and maintain an organized system for storage and inventory of returned materials.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs for inventory, maintenance, Capex, tools, and equipment.
  • Order supplies and rent additional tools or equipment as needed (e.g., boom lifts).
  • Lead monthly safety meetings and inspections; document training and certifications and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Communicate with leadership and other departments regarding scheduling, budgeting, and supply needs.
  • Attend regular market and operations meetings and conduct quarterly market ride-alongs to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate closely with the Operations Associate for logistics and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related operations or field experience.
  • Minimum 5 years management experience.
  • Valid CDL driver’s license .
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.
